A loan of $1,625 helped to start her business making and selling cheeses.

Margarita's story

Having a cheese factory has always been the greatest dream for Señora Margarita, who at 54 years old has seen the opportunity to start her business since she found an association that trusts her and will lend her the money to start up her business idea.

She has two adult children and a happy marriage, there is a great deal of uncertainty since she has felt scared and sometimes bored of just being at home and wants to start producing.

She is asking for a loan in order to start her business, which she will use to buy a semi-industrial stove, loom, vacuum packer, moulds, rolls, adaptations and supplies to formally start her business.

For Margarita this loan is greatly important since it is the way to a sustainable way of life so that she never has to depend on anyone else and always has enough for herself.
