A loan of $500 helped a member to purchase hair products to resell.

Sissigbe Group's story

The group SISSIGBE is composed of six persons, who reside in the same district. The group’s representative, Diane, is the one with a hand raised in the photo. She is 25 years old and married to an automobile electrician named Josias. The couple have two children, both in school and in their care. She lives together with her husband and children. The diverse household expenses are covered by the couple.

Diane did not attend school, but she learned how to style hair. To cope with the different household needs, she has been selling hair straighteners out of her home for four years. Secondarily, she styles hair in her home. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin.

With the goal of bolstering her business and satisfying her customers, Diane, along with the other members of the group SISSIGBE, is requesting a fourth loan from ALIDé. The past loans were indeed paid back.

In this group: Diane, Dorcas, Fonfonsi, Béactrice, Yvette, Josephine
