Rin's Group
In this Group: Rin, Sina, Theam, Srey, Chrann, Chin
This group loan which consists of six people is located in Putthi Sam Village Takeo Province. Mrs. Rin S. is the group leader who has been selected by the members. She is a farmer who owns a small piece of land to cultivate rice. On this plantation, she now has an obstacle because her rice field has infertile soil. In order to deal wI. this problem, Mrs. Rin S. decided to ask for a loan to buy fertilizers to support her field. Mrs. Rin S. is 41 years old and the mother of two children who are working in a garment factory.

All the members in this group loan have end-of-term loans so they are not required to pay any principal on the loan until the very end of the loan term. End-of-term (EoT) loans are AMK’s main product because it is the most beneficial to Cambodia’s poor. It allows them to repay portions of the principal whenever they are financially able to. Most clients start to make payments many months before the end of the loan term. Almost all of AMK’s clients make their payments on time.
