Agatha's story

Agatha is a female Ugandan aged 30, married to Charles, with three children aged 12, 10, and 1 year old. Two of her children attend school and she has one dependent. She and her husband are responsible for paying school fees for their children.

She has a retail shop in Kagadi town which is her main business and source of livelihood. It has been operational for three years. She has approached Ugafode for a loan of 2,000,000 UGX in order to restock her shop. This will help her to increase her sales and profit to meet her family needs.

Her major challenge is competition from other business people with similar businesses.
