A loan of $500 helped to purchase grocery products in bulk.

Moline's story

Moline is 18 years old and resides in Zimbabwe’s Chiredzi District. She has been volunteering as a Camfed Learner Guide, teaching life skills in local schools.

In addition, Moline runs a small grocery shop in the local town center where she sells products such as sugar, rice, flour, salt, milk, canned food and cooking oil. She has been running this business for three years now and it has enabled her to support her family.

With a Kiva loan, Moline will expand her inventory and buy new stock in bulk to reduce her costs. Her hope is to grow the business and open her own store. This will bring stability to her business and will enable her to provide for her family’s basic needs.
