A loan of $750 helped to pay for steel to make window frames, door frames and trailers.

Vhukile's story

This is 44 year old Vhukile from Chipinge in the south eastern part of Zimbabwe. He is married with five children, with four attending school.

Vhukile runs a manufacturing business producing window frames, scotch-carts and trailers. The business has been in operation for 20 years. He says the main challenge he faces is lack of working capital.

Vhukile has requested a loan of $750 to purchase some steel to make window frames, door frames and trailers. He says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow him to improve the family's general welfare.

In the future Vhukile plans to be a major window frame and door frame manufacturer.
