Donwahoué Marcel's story

Donwahoué Marcel, aged 39, is married to a merchant by the name of Antoinette. The couple have five children, of whom some have been provided with education and none is in their care. He lives together with his wife and children. The diverse household needs are met by the couple.

Donwahoué Marcel did not attend school, but he then learned how to cut hair. This is work he has been doing for about twenty years, so that he can to support his family. Parallel to this business, he purchases palm nuts which he processes into palm oil to be resold via the distribution system. He gets his supplies in his region.

With the goal of increasing his working capital, Donwahoué Marcel is requesting a fifth loan from ALIDé. The previous loans were indeed paid back.
