A loan of $500 helped to purchase more clothes to sell.

Yeukai's story

Yeukai lives in the Mudzi District of Zimbabwe. As a Camfed Learner Guide, Yeukai works as a volunteer with a class of students at a local secondary school teaching life skills and study skills. To help support her family, Yeukai rents a table at a flea market and sells products such as bags, shoes, jeans, shirts, skirts, tracksuits, and t-shirts. She has been successfully running her business for half a year now. With a Kiva loan, Yeukai will purchase more clothing items in order to grow her business and eventually open her own store. This will bring stability to her business and will help her to provide for her younger sisters, who are still in school.
