A loan of $500 helped to purchase more clothes to sell.

Sheilla's story

Sheilla is a 20-year-old businesswoman from Zimbabwe’s Mudzi District. Originally, she sold her clothes door to door, but with her determination to succeed, she now rents a stall at the local flea market where she sells dresses, skirts, jackets, and baby clothes. Sheilla volunteers on a weekly basis at the local secondary school working with the students as a Camfed Learner Guide, and in addition, she helps keep the facility clean. She is a source of inspiration to many young people in her community. Sheilla will use the Kiva loan to purchase dresses, shirts, and pants in bulk, to be able to increase her profits and to boost sales.
