A loan of $500 helped to purchase more clothes to sell.

Beritha's story

Beritha is a 22-year-old married woman who lives in the Mudzi District of Zimbabwe. She has been successfully buying and selling clothes for over 10 months. She sells jackets, shirts, skirts, and dresses. When she is not working in her flea market, Beritha serves as a volunteer Camfed Learner Guide at the local secondary school leading sessions on life and study skills. With the Kiva loan, Beritha intends to make bulk purchases of jackets, shirts, skirts, and dresses to reduce costs and increase sales. Her hope is to grow the business and open her own store. This will bring stability to her business and provide for her family’s basic needs. Beritha aims to further her education, as well.
