A loan of $1,450 helped to buy dairy cows.

Aiymbubu's story

Aiymbubu is 52 years old, divorced and a mother of three children. She has a high school education and she raises livestock, which is the family's main source of income. She started this four years ago with the sum of 10,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, Aiymbubu now has 20 sheep and two horses, as well as a 2.15 hectare plot of land, on which she grows sainfoin. As an additional source of income for her family, she sews blankets and mattresses and sells them to the local residents. Her total monthly income is about 20,000 som (KGS). With the goal of developing her business further, Aiymbubu has turned to Bai-Tushum for a loan of 75,000 som (KGS) to buy cows to increase her head of livestock. She wants to sell milk, as she already has potential customers for this. She plans to use the income from this loan to further increase her head of livestock and she also wants to save up money for her daughter's wedding.
