Kudakwashe Predominant's story

Kudakwashe is a 22-year-old mother from Mt. Darwin District of Zimbabwe. She serves as a volunteer Camfed Learner Guide. In that capacity, she teaches life skills education in local schools, to improve the well-being of the students.

For work, Kudakwashe used to travel around the community selling clothes, but now her business has expanded into a flea market. There, she is selling bags, shoes, jeans, shirts, skirts, track suits, t-shirts, and cosmetics. With the Kiva loan, Kudakwashe will purchase more products to increase her supplies, and therefore increase sales. She would like to have a better life and dreams of opening a chain of businesses, so that she can be a leader of economic growth in her district. She is also focused on giving her child the best that life has to offer.
