A loan of $500 helped to buy more clothes and shoes.

Confidence's story

Confidence is a 17-year-old entrepreneur from the Shurugwi District of Zimbabwe, who stays with her mother (standing next to her in the picture). She has been selling clothes for three months. During her spare time, Confidence volunteers as a community health activist, who disseminates health information in her community, and as a Camfed learner guide.

With the requested loan, Confidence intends to buy more clothes and shoes at lower costs from wholesalers so that she can resell them at higher profit levels. With the additional profits, she plans to pay school fees for her siblings.
