A loan of $500 helped to purchase more groceries to sell.

Patience's story

Patience is an 18-year-old businesswoman in the Mudzi District of Zimbabwe. She is successfully operating a small grocery shop in which she sells basic commodities to community members. In addition to running her small business, she also makes time to volunteer every week as a Camfed Learner Guide working with a class at a local high school. With the requested loan, Patience intends to make bulk purchases of sugar, cooking oil, soap, and salt to reduce costs. Patience would like to assist orphans and other vulnerable children in her community with the profits.
