Jennylyn has been operating her own retail store for more than two years, and she earns good income from this business. With her generated revenue, she was able to repay her previous loan successfully. She works hard with determination towards the goal of having more income to provide her children a better education. To improve the business, she took a new loan from GDMPC micro credit in order to purchase additional grocery goods to sell. In the future, Jennylyn hopes to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
