A loan of $600 helped to pay for grocery items, toiletries, and beverages needed in her business.

Norberta's story

Norberta has faithfully paid back her previous loan, which she used for her business. She has been operating her own “sari-sari” (variety) store for more than ten years, and she earns well from this. Her earnings were a big help in her personal, household and business expenditures.

To improve sales, Norberta would like to apply for a PHP 25,000 loan to purchase grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her business. The more items displayed at the store, the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She sincerely lets you know her heartfelt thanks and appreciation for this assistance in advance.

Norberta dreams that her business will grow bigger and become successful. Weekly, she meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from studying the Word of God.

* All Center for Community Transformation (CCT) community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners who gather to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
