Luz Stella's story

Four years ago, Luz Stella started her own business. She had been working in a company but wanted to generate her own independent income. Through a friend, she started selling products through specialized catalogs. Today she is in motion and offers her loyal clientele perfume, cosmetics, hair care, beauty products, underwear and household items.

Her sales are in cash and credit. Money gets repaid every 20 days, working on a schedule of 2-6 pm, and buying from suppliers on credit. Luz Stella is a sales woman who has many goals including undertaking a cafe generating even more revenue.

Currently, she has applied for a Kiva loan, primary financing from the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation. With this, she will buy cosmetics and several goods that have been displayed in the catalogs, with special prices and thus she will impress her customers.
