Dora De Jesus's story

Dora started her family twenty years ago. Along with her spouse, she has two children who are 21 and 19 years old and who are employed by a bakery. She is the owner of a convenience store and nixtamal mill with which she has the economic resources to support her family. In the beginning, she had only the shop but she has been expanding the business and ten years ago managed to buy a nixtamal mill with two hoppers. She attends to the public from 5AM to 5PM. Until now, she has not had difficulties with the business. The capital will be used to buy sodas, juices, water, condiments, soap, detergents, candies, snacks, eggs, oil, basic grains, etc. Thus she will stock her business with more products to satisfy her customers. The rest will be invested in paying for maintenance of the mill. She will have the opportunity to improve her services, attract new customers, improve her earnings and pay her debts. Her dreams are to expand her business and keep working to provide a better style of life for her family.
