Helena's story

A 40-year-old, hardworking woman called Helena lives with her boyfriend and their two children aged between 20 and 25 years old. Both of her children are in school and for the past 4 years, she has been selling Raw Fufu and pepper. (Fufu is a starchy food made out of cassava.) According to her, she will use the money to grow her business by buying more cassava and pepper to sell. She transports her goods by bike to her business area and sells for 6 hours per-day. She started this business from her boyfriend's savings and learned the trade from her mother. She like her business because it is profitable and gives her money. Her future plan is to send her children to school. And thanks was her last statement.
