Joyce's story

Joyce, a 30-year-old mother from the Wedza District of Zimbabwe, is focused on providing for her children. For work, she runs a mobile business selling shoes, jeans, shirts, skirts, tracksuits, T-shirts, and even cosmetics. Joyce also takes the time to volunteer in her community. She is a Camfed Learner Guide and teaches life skills education in the local schools as a way to enhance the young students’ learning environment.

With the loan, Joyce will purchase bags, shoes, jeans, shirts, skirts, tracksuits, T-shirts and cosmetics to increase her supplies and therefore increase sales. Joyce would like to have a better life and open her own clothing shop one day.
