A loan of $200 helped purchase soft drinks to sell.

Nancy's story

Nancy is 52 years old. She lives with her five children and her grandchildren who all work on the farm together. Since her infancy, she has gone to work in the fields and now with her children she continues the same activity. When she finishes working on the farm she sells soft drinks. She started a month ago with the longing that one day before she dies to have a small general store. The agricultural work makes Nancy very tired and for that reason she would like to have a store to not have to work on the farm. She doesn't think the business would be very profitable but she would have a daily income. This is the first time she is requesting a loan from MFP. This money is her opportunity to buy several cases of soft drinks and candy to sell in greater quantities and for that reason she will invest it all in this.
