A loan of $4,050 helped a member to buy condiments.

Nompe-Gale Group's story

Nompe-Gale is a group of 22 people who got to know each other in the same neighborhood and belong to the same association. The representative of the group, Ganviehoué (who is short and standing next to the woman holding her two hands on her stomach in the photo) is 53 years old and married to a man called Kotti. The couple has five children some of whom are educated; two of them remain in the couple's care. Ganviehoué did not attend school herself. She lives with her children and her husband, and the couple cover the various household expenses between them. She sells condiments and various other products from her home. She gets her supplies in a Benin market. This is the second time that Ganviehoué and the other members of the Nompe-Gale group have requested financial support from Alidé so that they can boost their working capital and better respond to customer demand. The first loan was repaid in full.
