Eladio's story

Eladio is 30 years old. He lives in his own house, made of rustic materials, with his wife and their two daughters in the Pucará district. The Pucará district is a community with a hot climate located in the province of Jaén, which is part of the Cajamarca region of Peru's northern mountains. The population there works in farming, commerce, and livestock production.

Eladio's business is the farming of hard yellow corn, which he later sells in the market of his district. He has requested a loan of 3,000 nuevos soles [PEN] from Edpyme Alternativa in order to pay day laborers for maintenance of his corn crop.
