A loan of $625 helped to buy seeds and fertilizer.

Tékhèye's story

Tékhèye, who is in his forties, has been working in agriculture for more than twenty years. His father owned a field and would always take his children with him each time he went to work. It is in this way that they learned how to farm. Tékhèye, being the eldest, had an obligation to lead and ensure his brothers respected their father.

Now, Tékhèye works in market gardening and needs 300,000 francs to buy seeds and fertilizer.

With earnings from this work, his family lives. Tékhèye's dream is to farm new land and diversify his crops. He would also like to raise livestock.
