A loan of $200 helped to pay for spare parts and maintenance of her tricycle transportation business.

Teresa's story

Teresa owns and operates a tricycle unit. She has been successful in this business for years, and she has repaid her previous loan used for the business. She also finds ways to improve her income and to provide for their everyday needs and necessities.

Relative to this, she would like to take a new loan to buy spare parts and accessories for their vehicle. She is requesting an amount of PHP 8,000 for the maintenance of the tricycle and to pay for the renewal of the franchise agreement / permit so she can continue her business operation.

In the future, Teresa hopes that her business will continue to operate. She also dreams to give her children a good and quality education. Each week, she faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
