A loan of $925 helped to pay for grocery items, toiletries, and beverages needed in her business.

Florife's story

Florife owns and operates a variety store business to earn a living. She has been successful in this business for eight years, and she repaid her previous loan used for the business. She also finds ways to improve her income by making peanut butter and purchasing beauty products to sell to her regular customers.

Relative to this, Florife would like to take a new loan to increase her product inventory. She is requesting an amount of PHP 40,000 to buy more quantities and varieties of grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her business.

In the future, she wants to put up another storehouse and she dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman. Florife meets with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week, allowing her to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, to build social capital, and to repay microfinance loans.
