Jose's story

José is a farmer who lives with his wife and children. He strives to provide for his family’s daily needs. José plants basic staple crops such as corn, beans, and sorghum, which provide enough food to feed his family. He also sells part of his harvest. José works from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. He learned this trade by working alongside his parents. The risk he faces is dealing with weather changes.

José will invest in the purchase of compost, seeds, fertilizers, and fungicides. This will enable him to prepare the land and protect his crops from pests. He hopes to increase his productivity and his earnings.

His dreams are to upgrade his family’s lifestyle to one that his more comfortable and to repay his debt on time.
