A loan of $1,050 helped to buy an industrial press machine, corn, propane gas, wood, cloth, and other materials.

Juana Emilia's story

Juana lives with her life partner and three of her children, aged 9, 12, and 14. She has had a tortilla shop for nine years now. She distributes her product among her neighbors and the different restaurants in the area. She works from six in the morning to two in the afternoon, with the help of a daughter-in-law. She does not have difficulties doing this work.

The capital will be useful to buy an industrial press machine, corn, propane gas, wood, cloth, and other materials to improve the conditions of the place where she prepares her sales product. She hopes the investment will result in better profits, with which she intends to pay off her debt, and open a mini-store of basic food basket products.

Her dream is for her children to be able to have her support to improve academically, and for her family to have a better lifestyle.
