Marceline's story

Marceline is a 21-year-old businesswoman from the Guruve District of Zimbabwe. She volunteers as a Learner Guide at a local school in order to improve students’ life and study skills.

Marceline also sells groceries such as cooking oil, sugar, flour, and rice. However, she would like to expand her small business into a larger retail shop.

She will use the requested Kiva loan to purchase groceries in large quantities and increase her stock levels. This will enable her to sell more merchandise and increase her profits.

Marceline will use her increase in profits to live a better life and financially support her family.
