A loan of $700 helped to buy corn, oil, cheese, tomatoes, cabbage, dressings, juice, soda and pork cracklings.

Maira Evelin's story

Maira is married. Along with her husband, they are responsible for raising their two children and giving them what's necessary for subsistence. They all live together; they work every day from three in the afternoon to nine at night making and selling pupusas. This is located in her home; this is how she obtains economic income to cover part of the family's expenses.

She will invest in the purchase of corn, oil, cheese, tomatoes, cabbage, dressings, juice, soda and pork cracklings. Having the necessary materials for sale, she will continue working and giving good service to her customers; she hopes to stabilize herself economically and fulfill her economic commitments. Her dream is to have a restaurant where she can offer a variety of food and improve her family quality of life.
