A loan of $2,900 helped buy bulls.

Turdubu's story

Turdubu is 65 years old, married, and the mother of six children. For more than twenty years she has worked raising livestock and farming. She started her business with ten sheep. Because of Turdubu's extremely hard work along with her family's unity, they have made great strides in developing the farm, and they began to receive a monthly income from selling goat and cow milk. The farm has three dairy cows, three horses, fifty sheep, and 1.20 hectares of irrigated land where Turdubu grows beans and potatoes. In order to further develop her farm, Turdubu approached the bank Bai-Tushum for a loan of 150,000 KGS to buy five bulls and nitrate. Turdubu plans to invest profit from the loan into further increasing her livestock on the farms, and in the future, she plans to renovate her house.
