A loan of $3,375 helped a member to buy chicks and chicken feed to improve production.

Kwimage Group's story

Stellah is in her thirties and is a businesswoman. She has been managing a poultry business, a project that she has managing for three years now. She is not married and lives with her own two boys who are in school. She started her business with a few birds, but little by little she grew to more than 100 birds per one batch. Stellah starts working from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. every working day and is able to make a fair profit each month.

She is now approaching Tujijenge Tanzania to find financial support so as to improve her business production more. Stellah, together with five other women, is requesting for a loan to be apportioned among Kwimage Group (six members). The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.

She will use her portion to buy chicks and chicken feed to improve production. Stellah wants to become a great poultry business woman.
