Muhammad's story

Muhammad A. is 63 years old and married with six children. He lives in Khewa Nangarhar province and is an educated man. He lives in his village and works in agriculture processing, but he doesn't have animals for his land. He is also a regent of Parliament in Khewa. Mr. A. lives in a village and has a big house because he has a very big family.

He says, "I have grassland, but I am buying 50AF ($1 US) of milk every morning." Because of this, he wants to buy his own animals.

"Everyone who lives in the village should have animals for milk and yogurt," he says. For this, he needs 50000AF ($1100US) in individual loans for 27 months.

"We are poor people, but we should pay this money back in a short time. Thanks Kiva and thanks so much to the lenders."
