Minangueze Group's story

The MINANGUEZE group consists of three women who live in the same neighborhood. The group's representative, named Evelyne, is the woman raising her hand in the photo. It is the seventh time that this group is requesting financial support from ALIDé in order to increase its level of activity.

Evelyne is 46 years old and married to a man named Médard. The couple has four children who all go to school. One of their children is their financial dependent. Evelyne lives with her husband and children and covers the various expenses of the household with her husband. She never attended school. In order to cover some of the household's expenses, she has been selling cosmetic products as an itinerant seller for the past twenty years. She buys her merchandise at a market located in Benin. In order to boost her business and to better meet her customers' demand, Evelyne has requested a new loan, along with the other members of the MINANGUEZE group. The group's previous loans have been duly refunded.
