Houefa Group's story

The Houefa group is made up of three people who all live in the same area. This is the second time that this group has sought financial support from Alidé with the goal of raising the level of their businesses. Their previous loan was repaid correctly.

The representative of the group, Odile Thérèse Sourou, is the one whose hand is raised in the photo. She is 48 years old and is married to a certain Coffi. The couple has four children, who are all under their care and go to school. Odile Thérèse Sourou lives together with her husband and children. The couple together ensures the various household expenses. Odile Thérèse Sourou has attended only primary school.

To help take care of her family's expenses, Odile Thérèse Sourou has been selling vegetable oil, rice, and cosmetics in her area for 15 years. She procures her goods from a Benin market.

With the goal of increasing her business and better responding to customer demand, she wishes to obtain additional financing, with the other members of the Houefa group.
