A loan of $525 helped to buy fresh fruits for her husband's fruit selling business.


Bushra's story

Bushra is 36 years old and lives in Lahore, Pakistan. She is married and a supportive housewife. Her husband runs a fruit shop. He has been in the fruit selling business for 10 years. As it is summer and a variety of fruits are available in the market, the demand for fruits has increased. So he wants to buy more quantity along with many other variety of fruits in order to provide more variety of fruits to his customers and increase his sales. His aim is to increase his profit margin, as he finds this increase in demand lucrative. This way he will also be able to save an amount for future purposes and also expand his business. That is why Bushra has requested a loan for the second time to help her husband increase his business. They previously repaid the loan amount on time.
