A loan of $1,000 helped to buy materials to build canopies, such as tubes, faux leather upholstery, thread, glues, etc..

Vicente Elias's story

Vicente Elias , 39 years old, is married and has two children. He is from Chinandega, a commercial and tourist area. He is a small business owner and manager of an upholstery workshop in which he does all kinds of upholstery work such as living room sets, vehicles, tricycles, canopies, etc. He also rents canopies for all occasions. He learned this business from his older brother, and now he has had his own business for fifteen years. He makes all of his purchases in cash and he has both regular and occasional customers. Vicente is known for being hardworking, responsible, and eager to self improvement. He has slowly been growing his clientele through the quality and good service he provides his customers. One of his dreams is to improve his quality of life by increasing his working capital and to see his children become professionals. Because the demand for canopy rentals has increased, the goal of this loan is to invest in working capital by purchasing materials to build canopies, such as tubes, faux leather upholstery, thread, glues, etc.
