A loan of $975 helped to buy blouses, shorts, jeans, polo shirts, and shirts for children and men.

Yoli's story

Yoli, a member of “Las Trabajadoras” (“Workers”) Community Bank, lives in the Juanjui district of Mariscal Cáceres province in the San Martín region.

She is 32 years old and lives with her husband and son. Her husband is a driver on routes throughout the region and she sells clothing for women, men, and children.

With this loan of S/3,000 (approximately US $975), which will be repaid in six months, Yoli will invest in clothing for girls (blouses, shorts, various brands of jeans, polo shirts, etc.) as well as shirts for men and boys. This investment will enable her to satisfy the demands of her clients and will also provide for the maintenance of her car to ensure good service and calm for her passengers.

Yoli has been working with the bank for three years and is very happy to have been successful in developing her business. She is grateful for the support of Manuela Ramos. In the future she would like to buy her own home.
