A loan of $1,150 helped a member to buy foodproducts (rice, corn, beans).

Mahoudjlo Group's story

Group Mahoudjro is a three-person group, whose members reside in the same district. The group’s representative, Françoise, is raising her hand in the photo. She is 42 years old and is married to a man named Raoul. They have three children; all attend school, two on their budget. Françoise lives together with her husband and children. The couple provides for the household expenses together.

Françoise did not go to school; to support her family, Françoise has been selling food products (rice, corn, beans…) for about twelve years. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin. This is the fourth time that Françoise, together with the other members of group Mahoudjro, is requesting a loan from ALIDé. This financing will allow them to grow their businesses and better satisfy their clients. Previous loans were paid back without issues.
