A loan of $375 helped to buy merchandise to expand her grocery store.

Katherine Brigitte's story

Katherine is an enterprising young woman. She is 20 years old and lives in Imperial with her family. She has a small son, who is her greatest pride and inspiration to succeed; it is for him that she fights on from day to day, to give him a better future.

With a lot of hard work and effort, she was able to start a small business. She has a small grocery store, which is going very well for her as she is a very responsible and hard-working person, and above all is very courteous and friendly with her customers.

Katherine is grateful to the lenders of Kiva, because with the support that they are giving her she will be able to buy merchandise to expand her business. She will offer a wide range of products, and so her sales will increase and she will be able to improve her family's quality of life.
