A loan of $975 helped purchase of rice, sugar, milk, oil and canned goods.

Mily's story

Mily is a member of communal bank Mujeres Activas. She lives in the San Martin region in the province and district of Bellavista. She is 37 years old and lives with her husband and two children who are still dependent on her.

Mily dedicates herself to selling groceries. Her business is located in her home at Jr. Augusto B. Leguia No 298. She has been working with the communal bank for five years and the bank had helped her expand her business.

She will repay this loan of $975 in six months and will use the loan to purchase necessary products such as rice, sacks of sugar, milk, oil, canned food in different sizes, toilet paper and other products. This will allow her to stock her business so that her clients can find what they are looking for.

Mily wants to express that Manuela Ramos is a great support for her and her family as well as to other women that want to get ahead. Mily wants her business to grow and is thinking of expanding it by also selling clothing.
