Ena Yadira's story

Ena is 43 years old. She has no dependent children and lives with her spouse in their home. She resides in the community of San Lorenzo, in a valley in southern Honduras, and has been working selling detergents for the past three years. Her customers are her friends, neighbors, and people whom she visits daily in nearby communities. She also travels outside her community with help from her son, who also makes an income from Ena's business in order to support his family.

Ena is requesting this loan to buy products like detergent, bleach, bath soap, toothpaste, and toilet paper. This loan will allow her to make more sales and have higher earnings, which she will use to improve her home. She is a recurring client who is requesting her third loan from Prisma and Kiva to increase her working capital. This loan will allow her to invest in more products to sell.

Ena's goal is to better stock her business and be able to hire another employee. She wants her business to create jobs and help her family.
