Nulu's story

Nulu lives in Uganda, Kampala. She is married, with four children; two of them go to school. She has no additional family members.

She operates a food stall at the market on a retail basis; she works six days a week. She has been in this business for two years.

Nulu has requested a loan of Ugandan shillings 200,000 from MCDT – SACCO to buy bunches of green bananas, sweet potatoes, and cassava .

Her major challenges include seasonality and transportation. Her goal and aspiration is to make her business prosper.

She lives in a rented house, and the family has access to electricity and does not have access to piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and school fees.
