Midonougbo 1 Group's story

The MIDONOUGBO 1 group consists of twenty-two people who all live in the same neighborhood. The group's representative, Agnès, is the woman raising her hand in the photo. She is 49 years old and married to a driver named Apollinaire. The couple has six children, all in school and their financial dependents. Agnès lives with her husband and her children and covers the household's expenses together with her husband. In order to do so, she sells soaps as well as ice-boxes, as an itinerant seller, in her region. She stocks up at a market located in Benin. Eager to meet the needs of her customers and to increase her income, she is requesting a third loan from ALIDé, along with the other members of her group. The group's previous loans have all been duly repaid.
