Owodikoko Group's story

The group OWODIKOKO is composed of three persons, who reside in the same district and who belong to the same tontine. Rekiyath, the group representative, is the one with her hand raised in the photo. She is 29 years old. This is the first time that this group has requested financial support from ALIDé with the aim of diversifying their businesses.

Rekiyath is married to a merchant named Yacoub. The couple have one child, who is in school and in their care. She lives together with her husband and child. The couple jointly ensure that the diverse household expenses are covered. She left school at the elementary level.

To cope with family needs, Rekiyath sells shoes and cloth secondarily by going door to door. This is a business that she has been running for about eight years. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin.

With the goal of bolstering her business and responding better to the demands of her customers, Rekiyath wishes to obtain financing, as do the other members of the group OWODIKOKO.

In this group: Rekiyath, Pascaline Mireille Assiba, Kafilath
