Al- Alhan Group's story

Al- Alhan is a group comprised of five women who live in Sana'a, Yemen. They applied for a loan of 140,000 YER from AMB.

Jamila is the leader of the group. She is a 34-year-old married woman with one child. She has an elementary education, but couldn't complete her studies.

Her husband is the family's breadwinner and she is a housewife. They live with her family in their own house. His income is not enough to cover all the family's expenses. Jamila decided to help him meet the household expenses.

Their house lacks of many food materials which negatively affects their life. For this reason, she applied for a loan of 20,000 YER from AMB to purchase food materials for her house.

Jamila looks forward to providing her house with all kinds of foods materials in order to secure a future for her children.
