Juana Danila's story

Mrs. Juana Danila is 50 years old and is a member of the Entrepreneurial Women Village Bank. She lives on Desamparados 204 Street of the Buenos Aires Norte resort in the Victor Larco district in the Trujillo province in the La Libertad department of Peru.

She completed her secondary studies, and despite the lack of parental support, she continued her training to be a dressmaker. She has a partner, Mr. Víctor Isarsaburo Camacho, with whom she has three children, who are still students.

Juana’s main profession is sewing, but like the entrepreneurial woman she is, she also makes tamales on Sunday. She conducts her business in her home.

With the first loan of 300 soles, which she repaid in four installments, she bought material for making aprons. With this loan of 300 soles, which she will repay in four installments, she plans to expand her tamales business and purchase an electric mill. Juana dreams of having a boutique for rent and sale.
