A loan of $1,025 helped a member to buy Muslim types of dresses for selling, and hair products for her salon.


Nzasa Group's story

Nasra, a business woman aged in her mid twenties, has two daughters, one who is at school and another is small. She is married and supports her family by managing a beauty salon. Nasra also sells soft drinks; soda and water. She has been in this enterprise for three years now and is able to make a fair monthly profit. From Tujijenge Tanzania, this is her second loan request which she will use to buy Muslim types of dresses for selling and hair products for her salon. She used the previous credit, which she repaid successfully, to buy salon hair products. Nasra dreams that one day she will be able to improve her business and build a nice family house. She received extra income which she used to cover household expenses.

Nasra will share this loan with her loan group ”Nzasa” which consist of three members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
