Enma's story

Enma is 43 years old. She is a woman who finished primary school. She is in a common law marriage with her husband, with whom she has 3 children. The two oldest help with the farm work and the business and one of them goes to the community school. Her source of income and only business is growing coffee. She has done this for 20 years. She started with her father who left her a parcel of land where she still grows this precious product. This work has been the main source of income for many generations of the families that live in the area where they live. Her customers are buyers from the nearby areas. Her property is located very close to her home, about five minutes away. Her plans and goals as a producer are to improve her property and also to buy other parcels of land so she can cultivate them and leave them to her her children so that they can have their own sources of income. Over time, they will benefit because there will be more profits and their parents can pay for their education. That's why she has asked for financial help to be used to buy fertilizers and insecticide, as well as to pay for labor costs, among other activities to improve her crops. Good maintenance will be achieved and her goal and faith is that she will obtain a good harvest and therefore good income to help improve and and her family's quality of life. She is also very committed to making the payments.
