Fifonsi-Gbenondou 1 Group's story

The Fifonsi-Gbenondou 1 Group is made up of 10 members who live in the same neighbourhood. The group representative is Houégoé Gisèle, the woman with her hand raised in the photo. Houégoé Gisèle is 46 years old and only received a primary education. She is married to a man than Codjo, with whom she has had three children who are all receiving an education and who are living under their care. Houégoé Gisèle lives with her husband and children. Together with her husband, she pays for the family's daily living expenses. In order to contribute to the costs of running her household, Houégoé Gisèle has been selling women's clothing and shoes, in the capacity of a supplier, for around seven years. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin.

In order the strengthen their working capital, Houégoé Gisèle and the other members of the Fifonsi-Gbenondou 1 Group are requesting their seventh loan from Alidé. Their previous loans were all paid back in full.
